Rock Club Students Perform at Local Gigs

Challoner's Rock Club students have played some fantastic local gigs recently, providing them with a great opportunity to hone their performance skills with 'real' audiences (not just parents!)

The Loft (High Wycombe Cricket Club) is an excellent music venue with a very professional stage, sound and lighting setup, perfect for upcoming local talent. House on Fire, a Year 10 band with an impressive list of gigs behind them, performed a fabulous half hour set at The Loft in March, whilst Year 8 band Xscape performed several songs at their Launchpad night for upcoming talent in May. Additionally, two bands that include several of our Challoner's students, Stonestar and Clear Air Turbulence, also performed at The Loft in May, delivering outstanding sets and engaging, polished performances.

Constantine's, at Chalfont St Peter Cricket Club, host monthly jamming sessions where musicians of all ages can play together in a fun, supportive environment. They also host bands, and at their May session, two of our Year 7 Rock Club Fringe bands, Locker Riot and Favourite Worst Nightmare, made superb debut performances.

Our upcoming Summertime Rock concert on Tuesday 15th July will see all our Rock Club bands take to the stage for an incredible evening of pop and rock music. Tickets available soon!
